Dropbear issue with Linux SDK 03.00.00.04

Hi. 

I am using AM3358BZCZ100 processor based hardware board and I flashed this board with new ti-processor-sdk-linux-am335x-evm-03.00.00.04-Linux-x86-Install.bin image.

In this all the services are bringing up during bootup except dropbear. After analyze I under stand one thin this evm-03.00.00.04 is lanched with systemd support. 

Usually The systemd-sysv-generator is generating dropbear.service unit in /run/systemd/generator.late for sysV init script in /etc/init.d/dropbear. But this dropbear.service is not running during bootup.

when i see the status of dropbear.service(systemctl status dropbear.service) it giving bellow message.

This is an old thread, but the SDK version hasn't changed since. I experienced this problem yesterday. I'm using TI Processor SDK 3.03.00.04 on Ubuntu Linux 16.04 LTS with a recent vintage Beagle Bone Black as target hardware.

Upon running a fresh image created from the SDK, the dropbear daemon is not running and systemctl reports the service as dead. I also noticed there were no keys present in /etc/dropbear. Rebooting the bone resulted in no apparent change.

To solve, I issued a manual 'systemctl start dropbear' via serial connection. Immediately ssh connections via usb0 started working, and of course an RSA key was now present in /etc/dropbear. dropbear now starts correctly on subsequent reboots.

I didn't investigate why a manual start is any different than a start at boot. I'm guessing it has something to do with key generation in the start script.
