Hi,

we used 18bit ILI9341 LCD with AM5728?

This LCD chip is initialized with SPI interface and data is transferred with parallel RGB interface.

The SPI initialization has done in drivers/video/fbdev/omap2/displays-new/panel-dpi.c and converted to RGB interface.

but display is not getting.Only one small blue line is displayed.we used omapdrm in kernel.

I have attached the LCD images please check it.

In the below image left side one small blue line is appearing.I am not getting full screen.

Hi,

The dts settings look correct. I am not familiar in details with the ili displays, but this might be an erroneous initialization. Can take reference from the following generic tft driver source:
github.com/.../flexfb.c
During my research on this I've found some feedback that the driver works with ili displays. It is using FB, but it could be used as a reference, i.e. for the display init sequence.

The initialization code is same as the in the above link what you have send.

But in that they are using SPI interface for data and contro i think.

But I need controlling through SPI interface and data through parallel interface.

Can you suggest any thing.

I am sorry, but I am not aware of an example driver, which you can reference... this is a quite customized use case.
