SmartConfig CC3200 Tcp_echo

Expert 1255 points

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC3200SDK, CC3200, CC3100

Hi

I am using :

ccsv6.1.3

tirtos_cc32xx_2_16_01_14

CC3200SDK_1.2.0

CC3200 LaunchPad

windows7

I have run the tcp_Echo example but I want to know what are the steps to follow because My console just shows the first two lines:

Starting the TCP Echo example for the CC3X00
System provider is set to SysMin. Halt the target to view any SysMin content in ROV.

What is to be filled in device name and key?

Thanks

  • Hi,

Just to be on the same page, I am looking at the User guide obtained from:
    www.ti.com/.../cc3200sdk

    The doc link is: CC3100/CC3200 SimpleLink Wi-Fi Internet-on-a-Chip User's Guide (Rev. A): www.ti.com/.../swru368

Then went to the SmartConfig reference link mentioned on section 8.1 of the User Guide:
    processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php

Have you followed the instructions on these links? You should be seeing the Network Name auto filled, and type the wifi password in the Password field (which you did not mention). Then the device name is something you assign. I don't see the 'key' field in this doc, so not sure if we are referring to the same app version. Can you comment?

    Regards,
    Murat
