AM3351 + IP101GR can't ping in U-Boot

Hi all,

I face a issue on AM3351 + IP101GR (Etherne PHY) can not ping in U-Boot.
H/W is customer's board use RMII for Ethernet, SDK version is Processor SDK 1.0.0.3.

I follow the China E2E thread to setup RMII as following link:

At the first time, my boot-up log always show up "Phy not found".
After I setup the configuration as the link, this log is not show up anymore, I think the phy is working fine.
However, I use ping command to ping the Gateway, it always show up the address is not alive.

Then I use Wireshark to analysis the packages while use ping command.
I find out the TX of customer's board looks like OK and PC's feedback is OK too.
But it seems customer's board can't recognize the feedback form PC and did not replay it.

Is there any suggestion for this?

Hi Wayne,

Could you attach in a text file output of 'printenv' u-boot command.
Also should be better to attach the wireshark capture as a file then as picture.

Hi Biser,

Thanks for your tips.
I've seem lots of these threads and as I said, I think I've enable the RMII PHY on customer's board.
The same setting works GOOD on my other customer's board which is use RMII too.

Hi Tsvetolin,

The issue is solved, thanks for your greate help.
Customer's SCH has a mistake, AM335x RMII_CRS_DV did not connect to PHY RMII_CSR_DV.
Our H/W engineer modify the customer's board, it can ping gateway now.
