66AK2G02 and application security

Hello All,

How does K2G support application security?  It's supposed that K2G will be used at industrial application with 10-15 years of life time. Circuit design is not too complex. The only one way to secure customer's investments for a long time against cloning is protected software. Since K2G requires external ROM application security is not easy. Any ideas?

    As the data sheet for the device specifies the K2G platform is designed to support HighSecure (HS) Device variant that is designed for protecting end user application software/IP.
