Hi,

The ISDK v01.00.00.07's Known Issues in the release note doesn't mention about the
issue "Inconsistency of 64-bit DC System Time".Can we assume this issue exist in v01.00.00.07 also?

If that is true, is there is way to overcome this issue and continue to use v01.00.00.07?
the latest version v02.01.02.02 seems have fixed this issue but we need to continue using
v01.00.00.07, it will be very helpful if there is any software patch to FIX the issue in v01.00.00.07.

Hi Kummi, ISDK 1.0.0.7 is a really old one, we don't even have it in our EtherCAT errata wiki page =/

I will try to find out in which version "Inconsistency of 64-bit DC System Time" got resolved, but I would highly recommend to move to latest Industrial SDK 1.x () in order to ensure additional bugs are fixed and you got latest features..

only the latest v02.01.02.02 version has fixed Inconsistency issue.

As you mentioned it will be better to move to the latest ISDK version v02.01.02.02.
But as you know v02.01.02.02 is completely different from the older version and
it is highly impossible to upgrade to the latest ISDK without a migration guide in less time.

It is very unfortunate that TI keeps on upgrading ISDK and there is no proper explanation
or documents on migration. And our customer has the application built on ISDK 1.0.0.5 and it is not easy
to move to the unfriendly latest version.

PC-- I am not aware of any known issue with 64-bit DC System Time, but I am double checking with our developers.

Q2) I was suggesting to migrate first from ISDK 1.0.X.X to 1.1.X.X. However, as you mention ideally the migration would be to 2.1.X.X

Hi Paula,

Thank you very much for the details and the migration guide.

As per the suggestions on the E2E, we will ask the customer to migrate to the
latest version of 1.x.x (v01.01.02.01).
Please let me know if there is any migration guide when porting v01.00.00.07 to v01.01.02.01.

And we believe the Inconsistency of 64-bit DC System Time issue is Fixed in v01.01.02.01.

We are still upgrading to the v01.01.02.01 version and it would be helpful if
there is any info on the 64-bit DC.

Hi Kummi, from errata, processors.wiki.ti.com/.../EtherCAT_Slave_Errata_PINDSW_01_00_00.pdf, I see "Inconsistency of 64-bit DC System Time" Issue was fixed in ISDK 2.1.1 and 1.1.0.10 (EtherCAT Firmware build 0x3cb). I don't think there is any other known issue with respect to 64-bit DC System Time.
