OMAP-L138 DDR_VREF input current

A customer has inquired about the input current expected for the OMAP-L138 DDR_VREF input.

The datasheet (revised Sep 2014) does not specify any quantity for the input current. The example schematic diagrams showing a 1Kohm/1Kohm resistor divider circuit is not indicative of what the expected input current maximum would be for the pin.

Brandon,

The DDR_VREF input is the reference voltage for address and command. The only specification for this input is 0.49~0.51*VDD. The JEDEC spec also does not mention about the current requirement for VREF input.

Thank you for the inputs. I suspect the customer is going to want to understand what our device actually consumes from a current perspective; ie. is it nA, uA, mA, etc? An actual number would be necessary, but my point is they want to ensure their design appropriately accounts for the draw on this reference rail and not knowing what our device consumes creates an unknown variable in that equation.

Brandon,

We do not measure DDR_VREF input current on any device. It is surely less than a mA.
