AM3359 have PowerVR SGX350 3D Graphics Engine. Could we use it for OpenCV hardware acceleration ?

OpenCV have GPU module only support Nvidia GPU.

There is a OpenCL module can support OpenCL compatible devices.

Does AM335x support OpenCL?

No openCL/OpenCV support for SGX350 on AM335x/Sitara devices. If you are looking to offload processing, you can look into AM57xx that supports openCL to DSP.
