Hello DSP Champs,

Some questions regarding this reference design:

1. In the description it is said that “TIesr engineis currently limited to a maximum of two keyword phrases”.

Could you please advise whether the limitations are related to performance (not enough MIPS on  C5000) or it is just a SW thing?

2. Does this library support only English? Or what other languages are possible?

3. is this library available on C66x?

    Hi Ilya,

    1) The reason for the 2 word limitation statement in the design doc is that we were seeing unreliable behavior with more than 2 words. We have not fully understood the reason behind this and I suspect something to do with performance. You can certainly experiment with multiple trigger words in your custom build and use optimization methods to see if it helps.

    2) Only English.

    3) It's not available for C66x as-is, but it should be able to be ported.
