Hi there

I have a question about C6746 UPP and Bootmode Selection

First, I want to use the UPP of the C6746

Accroding to datasheet of the C6746, UPP_XD[7:0] is not only work as data bus of UPP also BootMode Selection

So, if i want to use UPP, What should i do?

should i use external circuit like muliplexer?

or is there any guideline?

In your application, you should do PINMUX for the uPP peripheral before using the uPP.

Hi there

I think my question give you a confusion

Plese Refer to the Below Picture

Although i did the PINMUX, BootMode Selection Circuit is still connected through UPP pin

So my ADDA Converter Could not work becuase the BootMode Selection Circuit affect the Databus of the ADDA Converter

What do you think

Yang,

The pins which are multiplexed by boot mode selection and UPP data lines have the default selection to boot mode during power on. When you want to run your UPP application you may need to set the pinmux selection to UPP. The external multiplexer for this application is optional and designers wish.
