Directly booting from AIS signed zImage on OMAP-L138

Since AIS is capable of initializing external memory and other CPU peripherals, i wonder if it is possible to boot directly from a AIS signed kernel image. (In this case, AIS code will be responsible for initializing the DDR2/mDDR memory and other peripherals like PLL'S, EMIFA, etc before copying the kernel.)

No UBL, no u-boot, just the kernel image.

I know it is not useful for development but i wonder how much the boot time will be shortened by doing this.
