AM437x ROM code ECC

Hello Biser,

Is the BCH16 ECC correction used also in AM4376BZDN100 (Sitara AM437x Cortex-A9) processors? Or do these processors implemented different ECC algorithm?

Hi Frantisek,

As Biser has pointed out in the link, it depends on the NAND (spare area) being used. If spare area is greater than 64, BCH16 is being used

"As per ROM code, NAND device with oobsize > 64 per-page require BCH16 ECC-scheme for NAND boot."
