Hi Marcus,

I think there is no on-chip temperature sensor on Jacinto4 (DRA64x). I can not find any reference of a temp sensor and bandgap register in Jacinto4 documentation. See the below e2e threads which discuss this lack of temp sensor regarding DM814x device:

The J4 TRM is talking about smart reflex support.
I would assume that this technique requires temp sensors.
Do you think smart reflex incorporates temp sensors and if yes can we use it independently?

TRM is generic, while datasheet/data manual is more device oriented, datasheet is with higher priority than TRM. You will find in J4 datasheet that SmartReflex (AVS) is not supported.

I think you can not use SmartReflex temp sensors. This feature (SmartReflex and its temp sensors) actually exist, but has never been characterized, so an external solution is recommended.
