Can you clarify your query further
1) Are you trying to use the EMIFA clock (EMA_CLK) as an independent clock source/free running clock (rather then using EMIFA for SDRAM or Async memories)?
2) "Keep it running" implies what? Do you want to prevent it being clock disabled?
Assuming #1 , yes the EMA_CLK can be used as a free running clock (should not exceed 100 MHz), additionally even if you are using the EMIFA in asynchronous mode, you can still use the EMA_CLK (which is not needed for Async mode) for "other" functions.
