Where to download the programming guide for OMAP3530

Talking about the instructions, architecture ........

  • Beaver,

This depends on the OS you want to use.  For linux, the best place to start is to download the Linux Platform Support Package:

    http://software-dl.ti.com/dsps/dsps_public_sw/sdo_sb/targetcontent/dvsdk/DVSDK_3_00/latest/index_FDS.html

and read the Getting Started Guide wiki:

Regarding the Cortex-A8 processor and architecture, check out:

  • Clay,

I'm a freshman to the OMAP35x. I would like to do programming based on Visual Studio 2005 and Windows CE 6.0. I probably will need to use some of the following resources.

GPIO, SPI, I2C, RS232, LCD control, touchscreen control.

Any suggestions on where to start?

I tried to find a reference manual or programmer's manual for those functions but no luck so far.

    Thanks,

    Runner
