I am unable to write a value to WatchDog registers,But can read from the Register successfully.

What is preventing register write

In section 20.4.3.8 ,to enable the Watchdog , I have to write a sequence 0xBBBB to the register,But i am unable to write the value to the register

baseadress(0x44e3500)+ WDT_WSPR(0x48) is what i meant.. Writing a value to this reg is not happening..

WDT has to enabled before writing anything to its register..is that understanding correct..?

Vxworks...The address part is correct...but writing to the address is not happening.

I'm sorry, TI does not support Vxworks. If this is similar to Linux you should check whether the WDT is not being used by a driver and therefore not accessible from user space.
