Do you have any good tool that is set the IO Delay on DRA7x to create uboot code and Linux dts file of PSDKLA v3.0?

Hi,

For configuring proper IODelays please use the Pad Configuration Tool (PCT). Please refer to the PCT IODelay app note on how to configure and generate files to incorporate into Linux and various SDKs.

Hello Alex,

Thanks for your reply. I read the app note.
I found a perl script, generate_data.pl is supported for GLSDK.
Is there new one for PSDKLA?

I believe the format for IODelay config is the same, no? Can't you reuse what is being generated for PSDKLA?

No, PSDKLA of format changed from GLSDK.

Let me ask around see how we handle all these different formats. AFAIK, we provide the generic file format from the tool exactly for this reason for folks to use for their own needs. That is PSDKLA as well.

Hi Kenshow,

I have contacted the IODELAY appnote owner and here their reply (please refer to latest appnote v1.1) "Other formats are also supported. See some changes in section 7.1 for For TI-RTOS SBL code and section 7.2.3 SYSBIOS SBL."

Is v1.1 useful in case of setting of PSDKLA kernel?
Unfortunately, I have IODELAY appnote v1.0c. I want tool that implement into dts file for linux kernel.

The app note owner claims it does, and also other SDK formats as well. Not an expert of dts files, but I see some additional manual steps to adjust generic format to various kernel dts files. I cannot share it here (it's NDA), so could you please obtain v1.1 try see if it helps you?
