USB peripheral and 1.5k pullup on D+

Hello everyone:

Just a simple question in regards to a full speed, self-powered, c6747 base USB peripheral we're designing.  After my device goes through it's enumeration, I need to remove the 1.5k pullup on D+ line when the USB cable is unplugged.  I can't seem to find any way of doing it via the registers documented in the USB 2.0 controller users guide.  Do I have to resest and reinitialize the USB device to achieve this?

Thanks in advance for any answers provided.

  • Never mind.  I found out what the problem is.  The guys that wrote the device stack were overriding the phy values instead of letting it use the external pins to detect the device type.  If I remove the override, the 1.5k pull-up attach and detach work as expected.
