Missing files in the /sys/class/leds/ directory

Hello All,

In our development procedure, after some version of release code, there is nothing in the directory: /sys/class/leds/. So that I can't do anything about the led controlling.

Could anyone tell me what reason it is? How can I recover everything that were in that directory before? Or how I can rebuild the whole system to get them back?

Hi Biser,

We use the am3358 processor, the board is based on the Beaglebone Black, and embedded Linux Ubuntu 14.04 LTS.

Any hint will be appreciated.

I'm sorry, we support only the TI release of the Linux SDK: www.ti.com/.../PROCESSOR-SDK-AM335X For support on Embedded Linux Ubuntu 14.04 LTS you should contact the BSP provider.

Hi Biser,

It's my fault, I gave wrong information. Actually the Ubuntu 14.04 LTS is on our host machine. We do use TI's Linux SDK to develop our embedded products. I am new to the Linux, sorry for the confusing.

Hi Finspoo,

Can you please share your .dts file? Also the defconfig?

In general adding the led device tree nodes in your dts & configuring
CONFIG_LEDS_GPIO=y
CONFIG_LEDS_PWM=y
in defconfig file & rebuilding the kernel, should get the entries in /sys/class/leds/
