Is there a way to control the DBGEN line to the Cortext-A8 from the AM3517 to disable "invasive debug"?

It appears DBGEN is always HIGH on boot and the DSCR defaults to "Halting Debug Mode".

We would like to prevent processor from halting when encountering a BKPT instruction in production.

What do you mean by "DBGEN line"? there is no such pin in the device.

The DBGEN line is part of the ARM Cortex-A8.
Please Refer to the "Cortex-A8 Technical Reference Manual".
The AM3517 must control the DBGEN line to the Cortex Core.
I would like to know how it is wired internally.
