On the Ti board below

My question is why on this board are the USB and DDR2 signal traces closer than the 3W or 4W in the processor datasheet? In the Ti documentation summary it seems as far as Ti is concerned the processor datasheet must always be strictly adhered to to ensure troublefree design.
