How many QDMA channels in TDA2x

Hi,

I want to check EDMA features in TDA2x whether number of QDMA channels is 4 or 8?

Section 5.3.7.1 “DSP EDMA Overview” in TRM vAD is written as follows:

DSP_EDMA_CC configuration in the device features :

• 64x EDMA channels
• 8x QDMA channels
• 64x interrupt channels
• 128x PaRAM entries
• 2x Event Queues
• 2x Traffic controllers

However, the register mapping EDMA_TPCC_QCHMAPN_j of j is 0~3. So, it means 4 channels.

Hi Kenhsow,

Thanks for highlighting this discrepancy!

The silicon indeed has 8 channels of QDMA for DSP, System and EVE EDMAs.

The value of j should be from 0 to 7. We will take an action to update the documentation.
