My customer sent this query

My customer VNL is using TUSB8041

USB hub is detecting in Linux OS, but the device listing of Modems connected at downstream port are not consistent.
Please find the attached screens indicated marking shows modem listing

In above screen Modem listing ttyUSB0-ttyUSB11 are available without any change when I check device listing in next instance time all devices disappeared .

At the same instance USB hub is listed (Verified using lsusb command).

Does this seem like a hardware or software issue ,

Hi Shreenidhi Patil,

Could you attach boot log of the board and "dmesg" command output in text files to search for some issues in TUSB8041 initialization?

-71 is -EPROTO, which means that some USB packet was garbled or entirely missing.

This often indicates a bad cable, but in this case, all the descriptor reads work fine while the port status and reset requests are not answered, so this looks like a bug in the firmware.
