Hi TI Folks,

Good day to you.

Because our design need 4 external interrupt pin, and we would like to use AM3358 platform now, please teach that how many external interrupt pin can AM3358 provide? and please share me the the configure instruction document.

Hi,

AM335x has one nNMI input that goes directly to the Interrupt Controller. However all available GPIO pins can be configured as interrupt sources. See section 25.3.3 in the AM335x TRM Rev. O for details.

Thanks for your quickly reply.
Dose it mean that only one external interrupt which named nNMI provided by AM3358?
In our new design, we are requested 4 external interrupt pins, so that please advise how to do.

Hi Biser,

Good day to you.

Please correct me if my understanding is wrong in below:

1. All GPIOs can be configured as external interrupt, but Only 2 interrupt per Bank.

2. Total 4 bank of GPIO are provided by AM3358.

3. Therefore total configurable system GPIO interrupt is only 8 from AM3358.
