wma encode under dm365

I am doing some work about the WMA codec on dm365 .I want to encode the sound into wma file directly.

I downloaded software package from  http://software-dl.ti.com/dsps/dsps_public_sw/codecs/DM365/index_FDS.html

But I find in the WMA encode package, the input file is *.wav and the output file is *.raw.

I read the IA-WMA-ENC-ARM9E-GSG.PDF.

On page 5, it says that" WMA encoder gnerates raw output file. The format of the RAW file is as given inTable.

ASF creator has to be used to convert the raw  file generated by the encoder to get the corresponding wma file."

I am confused whether I need the additional ASF creator.
