Hello,

Has any body implemented IRIG-B in Linux ?

I am working on AM335x running on Linux 3.2.0.

IRIG-B is generated by GPS and input will be given to CPU.

I am not clear how I am going to sample to input signal and set the system time for sync

Hi,

I've not done this, and I am not aware if anyone has implemented this.

I'd recommend transitioning to the latest linux version (kernel 4.4.19), if possible.

The IRIG-B is sequence of pulse in 8ms, 5ms and 2 ms.where 8ms in protocol represents position identifier 5 ms is '1' and 2ms is '0'.

currently physical interface is RS232.now I need to determine from the data buffer which data is 8ms 5ms and 2ms.

Can any body help me how can I determine 8,5 and 2ms from the UART data ???

oh I was not aware about this.

Any ways I was able to figure out how to do this .
