TDA3X CSI2 PHY Register Question

Hello,

I have a ISP connected to the TDA3X CSI2 interface. The driver seems to work correctly but TDA3X can't get any data from ISP.

I dump all the PHY register and find the value of REG8 is abnormal. The value is 0x6ff80000. According to the TRM, it indicate CCPF/CCPR/HSRX_OVRRD/CSI2R3_0 are override.

But I don't konw what is meaning. Can someone tell me what is CCPF/CCPR/HSRX_OVRRD/CSI2R3_0 override?

Hi,

With these register one could override sensed data among others.
Are you trying to bring up the ISP with EVM or custom board and also have you updated the driver configurations to suite ISP CSI2 parameters?

Hi,

In addition, you are overriding other fields than originally stated. See below in purple. Also, REG3 through REG9 are generally used for HiSPi mode. Are you using the phy in HiSPi mode?

Thank you for you reply.

I have updated the driver configurations to suite ISP CSI2 parameter and validates the parameters on custom board. It can work properly.

Then i got another custom board use the same hardware and software but it can't work.

I think it may be a hardware issue. So i want to find out the root cause accroding to the register status.

But i don't konw the relative between register status and hardware issue.

Hi,

I have not tested in HiSPi mode. I thought you were receiving CSI2 streams, if so, you should not configure in HiSPi mode.
