mp3dec question

Hi,

I am using MP3DEC 1.31.001 on DM6446 with DVSDK 2.00.00.22 with MVL5. My pipeline runs well for 12+ hours, actually everytime around 12:27m, then it stops. Seems like the mp3dec has a limit number of output counts. I do have "watermark = false" and did not hear the "watermark" beep at all. But I am not sure if there is anything else I need to pay attention to. Thanks all for help~~~

    Hi,

     We have published production library of Mp3 decoder, there is no watermark library with this version(1.31.001). We will check MP3 dec functionality again for longer durations. Are you executing the decoder continuously for more than 12 hours with single stream?

    Hi, Venkat,

    Yes. We are using a single live stream for the continuous decoding. Everything runs very well till it stops around 12 hour 27 mins EVERY_TIME. This  makes us think there may be a counter or timer somewhere. We have exercised all other parts in the pipeline to make sure they can survive more than 48 hours at least. So the decoding part is the only part in question now. Looking forward to your results!

    Hi,

     We tested stand alone decoder for about 15 hours and we do not see any issues with the decoder. Do you have any additional information on the state of the codec after it goes down? Does it crash or hand in a large loop? Is it possible for you to test the stand alone decoder with your streams at your end? Alternately, can you please share the input to the decoder?
