Leopard Board 368: does development system (PC) have to be Linux?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320DM368, LINUXDVSDK-DM36X

Hi all,

A Leopard Board 368 with TMS320DM368 just landed on my desk, for evaluation of the TMS320DM368 for a new design.

So far I know almost nothing about it, and despite reading various information on ti.com, TI wiki, and leopardimaging.com, the following is unclear to me:

Does my development system (the PC where software will be developed for the TMS320DM368) have to be a Linux system? Or can it be Windows and run CCS?

Also, is the RidgeRun SDK the same thing as / another name for LINUXDVSDK-DM36X?

Thanks
