Dear All,
We (Calixto Systems) do SoM business using TI processors, both Sitara and OMAP family. On our latest product we have option for eMMC (Interfaced to MMC2) We use SPO0 (SPI flash) for booting and eMMC for kernal, file system and data storage. So my question is considering above points can I use eMMC 4.5/5.0/5.1 both 4 GB and 8 GB for my application?. Because now we are not able to procure eMMC 4.41 part easily.
In TRM I read that for booting we need to use eMMC 4.41 memory on MMC1 interface. Please help me by giving a proper solution for query.
