Unable to enter LPM 3.5 mode in MSP430FR5994 - EXP board.

I was trying to enter the LPM 3.5 mode in MSP430FR5994. I Have followed exactly same method as per given in the user guide. 

As soon as i followed 9.b) step to turn off the Vcore regulator, it restarts itself. so it never goes for step no. 10.

Any other way of entering this mode. I want to use RTC_C module in this mode.
