Multichannel Audio Board driver for DA830 EVM / OMAP-L137 Starter Kit

There isn't  a standalone DSP/BIOS driver avaiable for the multichannel audio card board for the 6747 starter kit. However we do have solution that provides multi-channel audio decode, post processing, encode functionality wrapped with a framework and audio driver on 6747 released in a SDK form. This SDK allows one to customize the IO settings, selection of audio algos, insertion of custom processing etc. We provide the SDK which includes multichannel audio driver to customers whose requirement mostly fits what the SDK offers.

How can a customer access this SDK that is not using a DA device?  They are ok to port the driver from the PA SDK to the catalog enviroment but need access to this source.

Unfortunately, we can't open-up the source code. Its just too complicated to open the source code. The whole software is too big, tightly coupled with other components of the system, no infrastructure to make source code drop and more importantly no documentation on this as this was never meant to be released like this. The effort to start from this code base isn't worth.

No, the audio card doesn't have a mic in. However the DSK board does have.
