It should be possible to port the code you refer to for ARM Cortex-A15.. However, you will need to modify it to fit the specific device architecture (i.e. irq mapping, irq handling etc).

However, I'd strongly advise to study & use the latest RTOS SDK examples, which you can download from here:
www.ti.com/.../PROCESSOR-SDK-K2E
