AM572x NIMU Basic Example connection

I am using evmAM572x module and TI_RTOS(ti-processor-sdk-rtos-am57xx-evm-03.00.00.04-Windows-x86-Install).

How do I set the Ethernet connection to 1000Mbps fullduplex fix? Now while running NIMU_Basicexample prj it sometine connects to 100mbps fullduplex.

Anjana,

Do you see the 100mbps with direct connection between EVM and PC? or through a gigabit router/switch?

Also you may try the PSDK-RTOS 3.1 to check if the problem still occurs? software-dl.ti.com/.../index_FDS.html

Yes the 100mbps is with direct connection between EVM and PC.

How do I set the connection speed to 1000mbps in code? It should not go for Negotiated connection:

Anjana,

Instead of modifying the CPSW driver to disable connection auto-negotiation, have you tried to disable it in your PC Ethernet driver from Properties->Configure->Advanced->Link speed & Duplex?

See EMAC_cpswUpdatePhyStatus() in pdk_am57xx_1_0_x/packages/ti/drv/emac/src/v4/emac_cpsw.c for connection mode and link speed settings.
