Hi all,
Question:
- Can Sync Generator of McASP be reset with software reset for McASP ?
Developing environment:
- TI-SOC: AM5728
- Latest version of Linux TI SDK (RT-version)
Purpose:
- To make phase synchronization between PTP and McASP audio clock, Transmit / Receive Sync Generator must be reset at the FCLK edge timing from PTP clock.
Beckground:
- After clock synthesizer for AHCLK of McASP synchronizes PTP, it needs phase synchronization.
- To achieve phase synchronization, Sync Generator of McASP must be synchronize with PTP.
- So, I want to know the soft reset for McASP also resets Sync Generator of McASP.
