Hi, Ti Employees and other community members,
I'm a CS sophomore and just started in DSP programming in order to do our project. We've bought this DSK, ie c6713 dsk, and soon found that there is a CCS 4 IDE compatible with Windows 7. So we decide to use this new Eclipse like IDE instead of v3.1, which is provided in the package.
I'm quite experienced with software programming, hence if there is some HELP or TUTORIAL in how to use this new version of CCS with C6713 DSK, I can make a great leap forward in a very short time.
I tried ccs v3.1 which comes along with the dsk package on WINDOWS XP. And the tutorial in 3.1 is adequate I think. But when I heard in this forum that you(ti) recommend us to use ccs4 in spite of a learning curve, I know it's good for me to spend a little time to this new environment and it is worth the time judging from a general point of view.
So how can I get some official tutorial or Help docs on using 6713dsk with ccs4? I skimmed the HELP in ccs4 and did not find anything beneficial for a starter( or I missed something?^_^) To be more specific, after I create a project in ccs4, I don't know where to find the dsk related headers and source files, etc. (Oh, I do know how to configure my target and run some already-made program on the target) I don't have these problems when using v3.1 because the tutorial can guide me through such trivial problems which are not strongly related to REAL programming, and makes me learn faster.
Is there any solution on this topic?
