AM3703: Calculating Theta J

Part Number: AM3703

Team,

My customer is testing their boards that use AM3703CUS100. Processor is running at 1GHz, and it's case/package temp is 78C at 22C ambient.

They would like to calculate the Theta J to make sure the device is not running outside it's spec, so to avoid any degradation in performance/ shortened life span.

Can you help point us in the right direction, please?

Note, this board is scheduled for production before Chinese New Year, so anything you can do to help with the answer would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Viktorija
