Hello,

We have a requirements for a separate clock source for SGMII ref. clock input.

We have selected "TI CDCM61001RHBT" clock generator for the purpose.

Please confirm that is this part suitable to generate SGMII clock for K2E 66AK2E05 SoC.

If not, please suggest a alternative part. (Note the part should provide one or max of two clock outputs only).

Hi Tarang,
We have checked the clock sources used on the K2 EVMs for compliance and published the jitter requirements in the data manual and errata. If you want to use a different clock please compare it to those requirements. Unfortunately we don't have the resources to check every clock source for compliance.
