hello all,

I am new to sitara processor. I want know that when the AM3352 boots from SPI then at what frequency does it communicate on SPI. i have a NOR flash interfaced on SPI.

Hi Biser,

many thanks for your reply. Actully i am stuck in a problem. i have a am3352 based board and i am trying to boot from NOR flash which is on SPIO. I have configured sysboot configuration as 0100 0000 0001 1000. according to this configuration boot sequence is SPIO, MMC0, USBO, UARTO. After flashing the board when i power it up instead of booting from SPIO it boots from USBO and flashes again. can you suggest something to resolve this problem.

This sounds like the ROM code does not recognize the bootloader on the SPI flash and switches to the next boot device. What software are you trying to boot?

Hi Biser,

SPL and U-Boot are in NOR flash interfaced to SPI.

hi,

issue is unresolved. Flashing image in board was successful but when i power up again so as to boot from SPIO device wont boot up. instead it boots up from USB again as it is next device in the boot sequence.
