I am using THS-8200 video DAC with DM8168. The DAC THS 8200 is used for VGA i/p formate and VGA o/p formate.In this case where to connect Fiels ID pin.

Typically VGA output supports progressive modes, so are you planning to support any interlaced mode? if not , no need to connect FID pin..
