AM3358: ZCE package recommendation for RAM

Hello,

I am designing a board with the ZCE package of the AM3358 and read that there are limitations for the RAM size. Unfortunately, I can't find this note anymore. Could anybody from you help me with this question and recommend a suitable chip? Are there low-cost variants with good performance?

Hi,

Both ZCZ and ZCE packages have the same DDR EMIF signals pinned out. There is a general limitation about RAM size supported by all AM335x devices - up to 1G Byte of DDR memory can be addressed.

Okay, thank you. I found the note again. SLVU551I mentions the use of TPS65217A for the use with ZCE packages and the supported RAM is DDR2 according to this guide.
