Maximum placement distance for Flash memory

Hi,

Consider we want to interface a Flash memory with a microprocessor/Controlller. How to determine what is the maximum distance I can

place the flash memory away from the controller/processor.

Please consider this as a general question. If I was assigned a task of finding the maximum distance which I can place a Flash memory from any controller,How will I approach that

problem.What are the equations required. What are parameters of processor/controller,Memory and PCB are required to calculate the same.

This cannot be answered in general terms. You need to know what interfaces you use, what are the maximum frequencies involved, etc. It's best to perform SI analysis on your PCB layout.
