Please tell us about the following questions.

-Is there a connection experience with GigE Vision compatible cameras?

-Is there any example or library supported by TI on interfacing the GigE standard?

    Hello Maru-san

    While GigE Vision has started coming up as something of interest in key end applications , our team right now does not have any hands on experience with connecting to to GigE Vision compatible cameras. At this time , we also do not have any examples or library or any native support in our SDKs to enable these type of cameras.

    So at this point , customers will need to create the stack for such camera on top our standard Ethernet drivers.


    We will continue to investigate if this is something we need to have a better answer/offering for - but I do not have any timelines.
    If we find anything additional from our investigations, we will share on this thread.

    If your customer has any questions on compatibility of our ethernet peripheral with the cameras, feel free to ask.
