DRA726: PCIe dual controller usage

Part Number: DRA726

Hello,

Is it possible to connect the two PCIe ports on the DRA72x to two separate PCIe devices directly (i.e. without a switch)?

Referring to "Figure 26-18. PCIe PHY I/O Signals" in DRA72x TRM (vS), it shows both PCIe PHYs connecting to a single device, so the question is can TX0/RX0 go to one PCIe device and TX1/RX1 go to the other device and both devices be clocked off ljcb (configured as master)? If this is possible, are there any concerns with synchronization since the two devices are independent of each other?

Thanks in advance,

Jelena
