AM437X: Timers and PWM modules tutorial

Is there any good introduction or tutorials on AM4372 Series Timers & PWM Modules? I find the chapters in the Technical Reference Manual (spruhl7f) very hard to follow.

Sorry, no. The TRM is the available information source. You might also look in the Starterware examples: processors.wiki.ti.com/.../StarterWare The AM335x and AM437x DMTimers and PWM modules are identical.

What are the "chip events" mentioned in Figure 19-11 that are muxed by the TIMERx_EVTCAP multiplexer? I do not see the details in Table 7-254, the description of the CTRL_ECAP_EVT_CAPT register.

Thanks. I take it you write the appropriate "Event #" from Table 8-2 into the appropriate field in CTRL_TIMER_EVT_CAPT or CTRL_ECAP_EVT_CAPT?
