AM5728: GPMC access to FPGA memory from DSP

We intend to access FPGA memory using GPMC from DSP running RTOS

My understanding is that ARM MPU, running Linux, is the master processor and would need to configure the GPMC registers before the DSP can access the register memory.

Is this correct?

Can I just configure GPMC using IPC resource table using DSP only?

Yes, you can just add L3_Main GPMC memory mapping entry in DSP IPC resource table and then configure GPMC registers in DSP. Here is the link on how to customize resource table: processors.wiki.ti.com/.../IPC_Resource_customTable
