TMS320VC5402: DSP C5402 timer drifting

Part Number: TMS320VC5402

Hi,

My issue is related to the drift of DSP C5402 timer.

details:

- I'm using a TCXO as an external source clock X2/CLKIN:  link here.

- View the accuracy/stability of my TCXO 0.5ppm, the drift should be within 2ms/hour.

- in some boards, I did not notice the drift. in others the drift is importants (could reach 120ms/hour).

Question:

1- I think one of the possible cause could be the TCXO output level, however, I have some boards with TCXO working well (no drift).

Based on the DSP datasheet, Page 35/72, the high/low level of the X2/CLKIN are defined as: highLevelVoltage=1.35V, LowLevelVoltage=0.6V.

however, my TCXO output is 0.8Vpp, offset of 0.6V.

Question: What do you think about that? is the choised TCXO answers to DSP specs ?

2- Have I missed something ?

Thank you.
