Part Number: XEVMK2LX

I have plan to buy ADC14X250EVM and DAC38J84 for test XEVMK2LX.

First question is "Does it need Deterministic Latency Card ?".

Second question is below content.

"XEVMK2LX has two FMC port.

Can I use one for ADC and the others for DAC ?

Is it operate correctly ?"

Third question is "Could you recommend proper ADC & DAC for study with XEVMK2LX ?"

Hello,

The 66AK2L06 EVM, does have 2 FMC connections. However the experiments with the JESD-ADC, JESD-DACs typically use the deterministic latency card DLC (which you need to request from the adjacent market design TI page along with the software) and the CN16 FMC connection only.

ADC32RF80, DAC38J84 - design 4 - www.ti.com/.../TIDEP0081

If only the ADC, or only the DAC is used, using an external lab sine source clock, you can use the first FMC site on the 66AK2L06 without the DLC.

To use both the ADC and the DAC, the DLC card is used.

Hello, the DLC card needs to be requested through your sales channel, (TI sales engineer) to the RAP group.
It primarily routes JESD lanes to the ADC and DAC EVMs, and develops a 122.88Mhz clock based on the 66AK2L06 EVM clock out.
