Hello,

We are using TLV320AIC3107 audio codec with DaVinci-PSP-SDK-03.21.00.04 and It's kernel version is 2.6.37.

We want to update audio codec TLV320AIC3268, but I am not able to find the driver for aic3268 in the 2.6.37 kernel.

Please do the needful.

We found the driver below:

This driver is suitable. However it should compile on the linux SDK (2.6.37). In your experience, is it possible to modify this driver to compile on the linux SDK 2.6.37? Could you help us to get the correct driver based on the link above?

We are using AM1808 based custom board.

We are using DaVinci-PSP-SDK-03.21.00.04(SDK) and It's kernel version is 2.6.37

The reference driver link which you sent, is it support DaVinci-PSP-SDK-03.21.00.04 and 2.6.37 version?

Hello,

I see that AIC326x ASoC driver is ported to 2.6.35 kernel. It should be possible to be ported on kernel 2.6.37.
Some changes could be required.

Unfortunately, I am not aware with this changes.

Hi Margarita,

Thanks for sharing the information.

I have gone through the git patch (provided in this post above), and ported all the required files to our existing kernel- 2.6.37.

But, it looks like that provided patch link, is for the Linux version (3.xx). Link for git patch, from where I took reference is - https://gitorious.org/ti-codecs/ti-codecs/commit/2a6df0d6bb1c270aba57018fad5d3cde221e4d4?p=ti-codecs:ti-codecs.git;a=tree;hb=a572489a5ffdf7bc146f0552852d9b7f3dcfe8dd ( See Makefile for Kernel version )

Can you provide me the reference of kernel patch, for Audio codec TLV320AIC326x driver - which is working with Linux kernel Version 2.6.xx ?

Please note, ours is an AM1808 based custom board.
