We had designed our IP cameras using the onsemi AR0330 1/3-Inch CMOS digital image sensor. with DM368 We are currently facing a strange video behaviour. On long run, the video seems to be getting distorted as follows. Once we start getting this, camera is no longer functional in the normal way. That is, the video issue persists even after the reboot.
As you can observe from the above image, a split is observed at left side of video and that portion is having a pink tint also. we have tried changing resolution and other settings of the sensor but there was no change. We also tried by heating/reflow the sensor, but issue was resolved only after replacing sensor with another AR0330 image sensor.
Board details:
This is a two board solution with a capture card and processor card. Image sensor is within the capture card and processor is within the processor card. Capture card and processor card is connected using a board to board connector. Master clock(MCLK) for sensor is provided from processor.
Please let us know for the solution & Attach reg setting for the sensor AR0330_REG.cfg
